Fan switch / Water temp sensor Question

Can I put the fan switch, that usually goes in the passenger side block, in the front of the intake manifold? I'm using a 90-92 Camaro TPI setup.

I can't use it were it should go because of the headers. I had to get a pipe bushing to make the sensor fit into the block and it sticks out pretty far.

Yes, but you'll then need to find a place for the CTS to go.

I left the CTS where it was, and put the fan switch in the hole right next to it. It is right under the heater hose bib. Is this ok????

Sounds as if you installed the fan switch where the cold start control would have mounted on an older TPI. Should be just fine.

Provided you can attach the connectors, it should work just fine.
