Heads, Cam & Intake

Well i have full exhaust and some free mods so i started looking into heads, cam, and intake. Heres what i got so far comp xtreme performance cam kit 224 intake duration @ .50 and 230 exhaust duration @ .50 .503 intake lift and .510 exhaust lift. For heads i wanna go with TFS- 30400007 trick flow 23 degree aluminum heads. For intake i want the tpis big mouth base, slp runners, corvetteplenums.com to mega port the slp runners and plenum. Now i have a few questions about these parts. Should i run 24Lb injectors? Should i run a bbk 52mm or 58mm throttle body? Also is that too much cam for the ltr design if so anybody got a good recommendation for a cam? Last question is that the best base and runner setup or is there better flowing ones? Alls this is gonna be run with a 2400rpm stall and 3.45 gears.

Sounds very close to what I'm looking to do, except I also bought 1.6 rockers and I have a 5-speed. I think
you are looking at a pretty good cam....fwiw.

With that cam I would look into HSR intake, more power for less money.

People have runned the LT4 hotcam with heads and HSR with good results also..............

No that is not too much cam with that intake setup. It will work just fine. Heck MADMAX runs an 230XFI and he has the stock TPI runners. I'm making around 400HP with my setup and still have the 24# injectors. I still have a little wiggle room as I can increase the fuel pressure.

I would run 1.6 roller rockers as those heads can take the extra lift with no problem. I Have the same heads and run 1.6RR. Out of the box the SLP's aren't the best. You will have to do some port matching but the results will be worth it. Looks like a good set of parts. By the way you will need a custom tune.

24lbs is great. make sure to put good fuel pressure into them/what is your comp. ratio that means alot too. the 24s are good to about 10.0 to one comp.
52mm tb is fine. you can port the upper penilum to get a little more flow.
that cam is fine. get a chip burned for it of course.
