So i ported my plenum (i think correctly) i ground away the walls right in front of the 2 EGR holes in the front of the plenum. and now the car idles at about 1k rpm, and when i first start it up it idles at 2k for a few seconds.also there is a large air suckion noise when the car is running.the car is a 1990 formula 350

Actually I found the same thing when I ground down the walls behind the throttle blades, the noise level increased from the intake.
Very easy to hear without an airbox or tubing (just had the crappy TB filter)
Makes it sound like its really moving some air!
