My car detonates!

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3:23
My car detonates!
It detonates really loud STILL. My EGR vacuum line melted on me and i thought it was that... I replaced it and the car is doing the same thing. It's running reallly rough, the pedal is very hard esp when i make certain turns. At points the pedal gets so hard and if i press down the pedal too much it detonates really loud. what is this?

Axle/Gears: the ones that turn
Detonation: check the timming, 6*BTC, with the timming wire unpluged.
Gas pedal: check to make sure that it is not the TB itself.
Also check you cap, rotor, wires, check for vacuum leaks too.
Mine did something like that, it ended up being a rocker arm stud was pushed up out of the head (more like 2 or 3)....Check the small stuff first.
