hey guys, my car hesitates for like half a second to 1 second before the car actually moves, any ideas on what it could be, the MAF is shot so i got it unplugged, would that be a problem?

 

probably. i think that unplugging maf forces it into open loop mode. driveability wont be great.

 

Did it do that when the maf was plugged in?

 

Hey, I have an 85 TPI (305), with a NEW MAF, and noticed myself, I have a hesitation for a second at a stop before pulling out. I was thinking a fuel filter or something? Any thoughts? (I did change the filter last year and only have about 5000 miles on it.)

 

u could try and adjust the TPS.

 

did a complete tuneup on my car and it got rig of the problem, start with that. It used to stumble till it hit 1000rpm, now strong instantley.
