hi all nebie her from the uk ive finally got around to removing the smog gear but my question is could i use the air pump to force more air in to the inlet duct between the tb and ams or may be run a pipe where the hot water youster run in the tb to help cool it only a thought

 

probably but you can also use the smog pump as a ghetto supercharger if your creative enough.

Please don't try that, it doesn't pump nearly enough air to help anything. Just remove it from the car completely.

 

yes agreed, its not worth the time. Just toss it out. I hope you pluged the holes in the exhaust manafolds though.

 

yes pluged the holes removed the cats and made a 3 straight through exuast the only reason i asked is i rounded the lower retaining bolt holding the pump in so i have yet to remove it ill bin it at the weekend thanks
