In Tank Fuel Pump with Holley Stealth Ram?
In Tank Fuel Pump with Holley Stealth Ram?
Hi all
I just wanted to grab a little advice.
As some here will know I have that whole Fuel Pump mess the last owner left me. I'm about to fix everything that he had done and start again. I just wanted to check what the best way to do it is.
I have a 305 TPI Trans Am with a Holley Stealth Ram.
I was thinking of re-installing the factory style in tank AC Delco (EP241) Pump. Firstly I'm unsure if I would still need an in-line Electric pump or would just the in tank be enough?
Will that pump be able to handle the requirement to the Holley stealth Ram?
Is just going back to the in tank pump the best and most reliable away to have it set up?
Thanks heaps for any help.
Francis.

Hi again, just wondering if anyone knows the specs on the AC DELCO EP241 in tank pump for all TPI engines. The lt/hr or US gallons/HR AT psi?
Thanks.
Francis.

Hi mate, yeah I know what you mean, but Walbro is hard to get over here and I can get a complete re-fit kit for $200 Aus that has everything I need (I hope).
So do you guy's think the AC DELCO EP241 IN TANK PUMP will be enough flow and pressure for my Holley stealth Ram on a 305?
I have it booked in tomorrow and what's going to happen is I'm getting that AC Delco EP241 in Tank pump installed. NO other Pumps will be getting fitted, all that other crap is getting removed, (the 1/2" line, the surg tank, the Little Pump and the VL HOLDEN Turbo pump) so all the pressure and flow will be from that in tank pump only through a in line filter straight up to the fuel rails - injectors ( 19lb) on the Holley stealth Ram.
I really hope that this is straight foward and I never have to think about it again.

Hi all, hey I'm nowing having a real prob with my HSR Reg.
As said before It's only going to 30 PSI not the 43 PSI, and it's also dropping pressure as soon as the pumps stop and then makes starting really hard.
I have heard that thes Reg's are **** to play up and to add the Australian importer here claims that Holley no longer make the replacement part.
So does anyone know what other part I can get to fit straight in that will hold pressure and run at 43 PSI? I really don't want to go chopping and bending making a mess and have bit's hanging off things they should not be.
I want to keep it simple and neat.
Any help welcome.
If someone can give me a part number of a part that I can use to fit in the rail that would really make my day, If anyone knows anytihng that could help please let me know.

I know you can run a Kirban Adj. regulator for your HSR. I couldnt find a part number but you need the one that fits the old buick regal/grand nationals. I believe another third genner on this forum has one. Hope that helps.

The website is (click here) and the part number is 6547 and it is $105. I will be ordering one real soon, the holley regulator is not reliable. I hope this helps.
