thinking about changing my muffler have a question
edit: sorry didnt realize i was in the wrong forum but ill leave it here anyway.
i was recently given a free 40 series sinle in single outlet flowmaster. i currently have a no name single in dual out muffler.
my question is this shjould i install the 40 series, it will be temporary until i can afford a better muffler. the reason im thinking about changing it becausei would like a better sounfd and my current muffler is rather quiet.
my other question is will i notice or loase any performance from switching from a dual outlet to a single outlet.

it probly will sound abit better. flowmaster sounds ok. never heard a 40 series on a thirdgen or fuel injected car. but have heard many on old muscle cars and its a good tone.
performance increase will probly be minor if anything.
