I'd like some info on getting started with burning my own chips...
I know absolutely nothing about chip burning nor do I have the equipment to do it.
First of all, is it hard to do without any knowledge about "bins", "$xx", and other various characters of the such?
Granted, I am very experienced with my TPI. I've been wrenching on it for over 10 yrs. So I know what all the sensors do as well as everything the ECM has control over. I just dont know how all that **** translates into numbers & symbols, not to mention the values that I'll "want" for any given application.
If this is something that someone like me can do, I'd sure like to know where I can get my hands on the equipment to do it.
And what it's gonna cost me.
Or would I be better off just paying $150 every time I want something changed?
Thanks,
Troy
