accel superram base/ slp runners vs edelbrock base/runners
I was going to just get the edelbrock setup but then i seen that i can get slp runners from thunderracing and an accel superram base from jegs for the same price as the edelbrock setup from summit. My question is which one flows the best out of the box and which can be ported the most. Also will the superram base even work with slp runners or are they strickly for superram?

I'm pretty sure both the Accel and Edelbrock bases are the same. I have SLP runners on an Edelbrock base. I've ported both of them out quite extensively. I would recommend at least a clean-up porting of the base manifold, and open up the runners (and the plenum where the runners attach) as much as you can or feel like.
