Siamesing plenum and stock runner issues
I know that siamesing the base can cause mixture problems, my question is could siamesing the runner entrance and stock plenum cause similar issues? I run an NOS plate kit on my car and don't want to scorch the number 7 cylinder but it could definetly use a shift in the power band. I'm hitting the infamous TPI brick wall at about 1000 feet out.

I went in 4 "deep and no issues. But I didn't try and siamese the base at all . Just because I too was worried about mixture issues . When doing the runners , it can be thought of as adding plenum volume but shortening the runner length.
