Distributor gear question

Do I need a special distributor gear when installing the distributor in this motor?

JEGS High Performance - GM Performance Parts 350ci / 330hp ''350 H.O.'' Engine

It's a flat-tappet cam if that helps.

I've tried searching through the forum, and I think I don't need one, but I'm still not 100% sure.

It doesn't specify in the build materials listing, but it's always safe to install a bronze distributor gear in case the cam is a steel billet instead of cast.

I have the original L98 engine with roller cam from factory in my 89Iroc can i install a aftermarket billet steel roller cam(thinking about XR258/264HR CC)and the original distributor gear can handle that or do i need to change distributor gear to a bronze drive gear also, thx any advice in this matter !?
