i'm having a kick in the jewels this week. my car goes in for inspection on thursday and everything was looking fine until yesterday. The wife and kids came along for a ride when after about 5 minutes the car started backing out. almost seems like a fuel pump but when i checked the press. today, it was fine. let it run for 10 min. and still fine. so i changed the fuel filter just incase it may have had a clog. ran for a few more minutes, nothing. took it out and after 5 minutes, it started again. when i got it home, i checked the pressure again, fine. checked all plugs and wires, fine. checked for cracked vac lines, but couldn't find any with anything wrong with them. i'm thinking maybe a coil problem or something along those lines. i was going to change the cap and rotor out since they do need to be replaced. I also switched to bosch platinum +4's about 2 weeks ago and i added some NOS octane boost on sunday. other than that, no power altering mods for several months, just brakes and washer pump.
basically, under load after 5 min. it starts to dog out, no load it runs fine. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

take out the ignition module and have it checked at a local part store

 

i think i found the problem/s. my k&n filterchargers were filthy, stupid on my part, and it was toying with my MAF. that and these +4 plugs. i was weary of them, along with warned. the module isn't that old and it's an accel hi-performance module. car ran fine until i did the plug change. so i'll figure it out tomorrow for sure when it stops raining.
