New Car Project - Planning

I debated on whether to put this in forced induction or here, but since it is a TPI based project, I figured I would put it here. Anti-RMT guys need not apply. I'm planning out a new car, here's my thought so far, tell me what you think - it's about a 99% chance it will be a 88-92 Camaro, and a 1% chance it would be a TPI based project in a M/C SS, so we will base it on the idea of the Fbody.

The overall goal is a two stage process. The first process is adding forced induction to a basic Fbody with minimal mods, and the second process will be a new shortblock. Here we go:

Phase 1:
Moderate mileage 88-92 L98 car, preferably 90-92, preferable under 100k.
SLP runners converted into additional plenum space by cutting as much of the runner walls away as possible. I'm not talking about going crazy here, I'm not going to slice the back face of the runner and re-weld it, but rather cutting 2-3 inches from the bottom and top of the runner divider to basically remove any tuning affect the runner could have, and provide for increased plenum volume. It appears to be a mod growing in popularity in CA.
Stock baseplate/Plenum mod'ed for SLP runner match.
2000 RPM stall converter
SLP 1 3/4 headers & Y pipe
2.5 inch catback
T3/T4 turbo in the muffler location with a smaller exhaust A/R housing. (.45?)
2 inch "Cool Side" S/S tubing running up to the TB via the STS route.
Cartech or Vortech 12:1 FMU
Assocaited wastegate (50mm) w/ boost controller for 6PSI and 8PSI settings
Cheapest 30PSI rated BOV I can find.
3.08-3.23 Rear Gear.

Phase 1 GOAL: 13.5 - 12.8 second ET, 22 MPG highway mileage, able to run on 91 octane when needed (93 is widely avaliable here, but who knows what may happen if I travel), pass sniffer test (not visual), total "Mod" cost of under $2000, will sacrifice the headers to make the goal, but I don't see that being an issue.

Phase 2:
350ci forged shortblock, 8.6 compression w/ 64cc heads, cam in the range of 208/218, .480/.480, 112 or less of overlap if possible.
Dart Iron Eagle 200cc port heads, polished.
Accel baseplate.
Same SLP Runners/mod'ed plenum
42lb injectors
GM ECM using cyclon code - or another associated code that will work with 2+ bar map.
500hp/600ft.lb ready 700r4
2000 RPM stall from above.
SLP headers from above.
Likely step up to a t3/t4 with a .65 A/R Exhaust if need be, and one of the largest compressor sides I can find.
Matching "Cool Side" tubing if the new turbo requires it.
Boost levels changed to 10 and 15 PSI respectively, with a desire to fill up with 110 octane and make a 20 PSI dyno run, just once to see what kind of numbers us SBC guys could get versus the supra pukes.

Phase 2 GOALS 12.9-12.3 ET, 20MPG highway, able to run on 91 octane, pass sniffer test, total engine and mod cost of under $3500 for this phase. I realize it could be more or less, but I'm going with the strongest internals I can find for long term reliability.

*** ALSO *** I realize I've made no mention of chasis/suspenion work, and I know that will be required. However, this isn't the right forum for that, and that has a completely seperate budget set aside for it as well. It has NOT been an ignored topic. Nor has the rear end been an ignored issue.

So give me some feedback on things you might do differently, things you see going in the right direction, and maybe some things I have yet to consider.

This will be my 4th 3rd gen project, and so far, the one I'm not excited about because I've never gotten to use a turbo on one until now.
