305 e-prom???
hi guys, i havent been on for a while but i have a question. i recently sold the 305 engine out of my 87 t/a and had a 350 put in. it has edlebrock performer heads, cranes cam camshaft, roller rockers, hedman headers and a de-catted borle. with 100 shot of gas i ran a new p.b of 12.9 @ 108 mph!! the only thing is is that it is still running on the 305 e-prom and ecu. is this going to be a problam, or is it best to get a custom chip burned? i have one on the way but i just want to know if it will make a differance. oh and its a maf by the way.

Get a chip matched to your setup.
I start with the closest factory applicable bin to the application.
Aftermarket chips will take u awhile to get right.
Leanring to do it yourself and costs involved are about half of what a quality ship goes for,
The DIY PROM board here is a very wonderfully organized way to get started.
