tpi vs computer controlled carb

well i have a 350 tpi iroc that is rusted out to hell but the 350 runs and performs great im buying a car with a lg4 and was wondering what kind of gain or loss will i see swaping a lg4 top end to my l98 bottom end instead of using tpi (keeping the tpi heads though). The point of this swap is carb is easier to work on parts are cheaper and easier to tune also carb cars seem to sound meaner then fi cars. i would go non cc carb but i need emissions and im trying to find the best peforming and priced emissions passing performer

CCC < < < < < < < <TPI IMO

U can pass emissions without a ccc i bet

Because to get ccc's to run right is HELL because they wont tell you whats wrong there not sophisticated and from what ive read around here adjustability= ****

Well, don't want to flame anyone, but the CCC is a 750 cfm Rochester Q-Jet that is VERY tuneable and easy to work on. The Computer Control is only for part throttle. I had one on a hopped up 350 and it ran GREAT!!!!

All CCC carbs can be tuned on the secondary side like a normal QJ.

The timing part is at a loss however. They are not sophisticated and have a limited ecm.

That being said, on the PROM board the guys have hacked some of the CCC code, so you could modify things if u wish.

The TPI gives you complete fuel and timing control and looks better :-)
