Poor shifting after TPS calibration?

I just adjusted the TPS on my 89 350 GTA, and while it felt a little more snappy off the line, it doesn't downshift to first and chirp the tires anymore. Also the shifts seem to occur at low rpm part throttle, and slow and sloppy now.

I readjusted it back to before (around .45 v at idle rather than .54) but that didn't seem to do anything. Does this sound like I must have bumped the TV cable out of adjustment, or something else?

I think the TPS only has effect over the TC Lockup, unless you have a 4L60E.

I think its the TV cable got mis-adjusted.
