'89 as&m runner / plenum on a '87
I'm in the process of buying some runners / ported plenum of a guy who has run them on a '89 350 . i want to use them on my '87 350 and was wondering if anyone knows if they would be a direct fit , i have emailed AS&M and they have yet to get back to me and i want to get the deal done.
I belive the AS&M runners have the hole for the cold start blanked off on the '88 onwards runners but can this be popped off ? and is the ported plenum a direct fit ?
thanks . craig

You are correct. I think it was 89+ when they started to not use the cold start. But your engine won't run so good without it. I was going to use a set of stock runners and intake base off a '90 and boy I could barely get my engine to stay running. Ordered me a set of AS&M runners for my year but still using the '90 base. Hope that helps
