accel injectors- use clips? and other questions...
Do the accel injectors (21 lb) use the factory injector clips? I seemed like the ridge on the accels did not match the factory injectors.
Should each injector be forced downward into the intake or can I just torque the rail in? I tested the pressure after just pushing down on the rail and tightening and got a little fuel leakage on the top of 1 injector but then it stopped.
While I'm at it, I ended up with 1 long bolt and the rest short for the upper intake. Where do the longer ones go so I can check? (It seems like the lowest bolts and the bolts on the inside are long, right?)
thanks in advance for any tips

the accel (if a remember right) have two rings. the top one is the ring you put the clips on. so yes use the stock clips. just torque down the rail. make sure you tightin the rail bolts in a patern 1234 (just a little bit) until there all tight. if you just crank down on them one at time you can break the oring, and that will cause leaking. with the bolts youve got it right. there should be 4 really long bolts that go on the bottom of each bunch. and then 2 long bolts that go on the inside. iam assuming that you know not to over tightn' the bolts. remember its aluminum and its just an air seal. so a few tugs past hand tight is all you need.
