calling any tpi guys with afpr
Im going to a local speed shop and im gonna pick up a holley afpr since its the cheapest mod i can do next. Just curious what mods and what psi you guys run your fp at and if you noticed any gains. Next mod will be pullies then i might go roller rockers then gears.

I agree when I was running my TPI setup before switching to the mini ram I was set at 50psi. I didn't have that seat of the pants preformance gain. My own opinion is that I really didn't need it till I upgraded to a larger injector. And even then I did't notice anything either. Guess its like the chicken and the egg theory.

fuel pressure
It seems a couple of people said they gain a tenth or two tenths upping the pressure. My car has alot of free mods in exhaust and i feel i let alot more air in and exhaust out but never touched fuel. And its the next cheapest thing i can do. Pullies will probaly be next. I really would like to save my money down the road and get 3.70 gears installtion kit 3 series 9 bolt posi and a t/a performance differential cover.

I dont think you are going to see any gains unless you are running out of fuel at the stock setting. But for the record I am running 45 psi and 36# injectors. My AFPR is a holley and it works fine.

my air/fuel ratio was around 12.2 average. and i'm stock L98 with exhaust. thats abit rich as it is. more fuel pressure will make it more rich so i dont think thats what u want to do. i'd keep it stock pressure. more fuel pressure does help increase atomization of the fuel which is great but it does add abit more fuel. so if you do see power increases, it might be because your motor is runnin out of fuel
