What am I overlooking here??
86 305 tpi z28. STILL THROWING CODE 32 ON THE HIGHWAY. LOL. ANOTHER new egr temp switch installed, new ecm, prom, egr valve is newer and holds vacuum strong and new solenoid. All ac delco replacements. Even sent the wiring harness out to tpi parts.net and had it reconditioned. Car runs like a dream, even when the light comes on down the highway. Stays out in town and never comes on during normal city driving. I have already replaced my vacuum lines, ALL of them and made sure they are connected right, This seemed to have started when I had a small engine fire in my bay, and i QUICKLY extinguished it with a fire extinguisher that was by my side. The fire literally lasted no more than 15 sedonds at the MOST. And it was just over the top of the distributor. I have been chasing this problem a LONG time now. It's to the point where I don't care anymore. I need to know this, please. Off of the t fitting under the throttle body, the vacuum line continues down to another t that goes into a tank pressure valve. Is there ANYTHING with the charcoal canister, or purge solenoid, or tank pressure valve that can be causing a code 32?? IDEAS PLEASE!!!

If the EGR passage in the manifold is clogged, it won't allow any EGR flow (assuming you still have EGR capable heads too, with the exhaust crossover in the middle). For some reason, you're not getting the temp switch hot, or the signal isn't getting to the ECU.

There is a article in the tech article section that may help you. Once in a while mine sets a 32 from the egr but I have it completely blocked off. Next time I start it is gone.

Yeah, once the light comes on, driveability doesn't change, and when I shut the car off and restart it, the light stays off unless I drive it down the highway again. lol. Crazy. I Don't think the head passage, or intake is clogged, since it never threw this code until after this fire incident. I wondering if there is a passage in the tb that got clogged?? Hmmm.......
