Eliminating 9th injector

I am gonna do a TPI swap on my 84 Chevy pickup, and scored an early 305 setup from an 85 engine, which is nice since it will bolt to my old style heads. I already have 22lb injectors for my 350, and will be using an aftermarket (eficonnection) harness for SD. Since the early TPI has the cold start injector, which shouldn't run with the SD harness or 730 ecm, can I just leave it there unplugged or would it be better to get a fuel rail and runners from a SD car? Thanks for any info.

Terry

I have a 9th injector that is not functional.
I used a TPI set-up from a 1988 Trans Am..
Because my original one was beat up.

Just make sure you replace the O-ring if
damaged, so you dont have any leaks..
and also, make sure the 9th injector is
seated true in its intake housing. Torque
it down and leave it unplugged, since you
dont have a 9th Injector harness

Ive had no problems or leaks running a 1988
9th injector cold start TPI on a 1989 L98 car,
Not sure about a 1985 set-up tho.

If you want to clean up the looks, you can always pick up a cold start injector block off kit pretty cheap too. There's several aftermarket companies that offer them.

Just get a 7/8" brass plug and put in it.

Get an o-ring plug with an AN-10 thread. Summit sells them.
