TPI Will not start
TPI Will not start
I can not get my TPI engine to start. I have done the basics stuff and am not getting a pluse to the injector, it runs fine with starter fluid, I thought it was the ECM so i replaced it and still have the same problem, I can not figure out what the problem is any thoughts?

Blander,
We have a whole board Nw In/chicago Suburbs under the regional section with members available to help you if it can be arranged.
Secondly, wgat Vader said is valid, we cant help you if we have no clue as to what we're dealing with.
things like yr.make.model.engine, etc will help alot.
What works and what doest?
U say u have no pulse to the injectors, how did u test it? do u have spark? etc?
later

I do have spark, i am using a test light to check for injector pluse, The VATs is programed out of the chip, IT is a Speed density setup, I am thinking that the injector driver in the computer might have been burned up, becuause i have tried to apply voltage to the refrence signal wire and it still does not pluse the injectors, What size fuses are there supposed to be for the injectors (injector 1& 2)?
The INJ1 and INJ2 fuses supply power to the two manks of injectors whenever the ignition is on. The ECM switching transistor grounds the injectors to complete the circuit. If you have 12VDC at the injectors with the ignition on, the power supply is good.
The ECM must receive distributor pulses to time the injector firings.

try using a noid light to check injector pulse. the pulse to the injectors is not a high enough voltage to light up a test light.
well i ended up going to the junk yard and getting a ECM for $25, and it fired right up, i guess that was the issue, I would still like to know what size fuses are used on the INJ1 & INJ2 because i have a custom harness and need to add fuses to it.
