I was just wondering if you can run the LT4 Hot Cam in a Tpi 305 without ECM problems.

The dowel pin needs driven in or cut down. There's an entire section of this site dedicated to burning your own proms. There's also a tech article on the main page in the tech section.
I currently have a Hotcam in my 355 and it needed a custom prom so putting it in your 305 would be overkill. Brisk (on here) is running the hotcam in his 305, ask him some questions about the install. Personally, I'd run the LT1 in the 305. Would wake it up nicely and I don't think you need to do prom work.
