l98 build up

I would like to build my 350 tpi from the cam up. I need recomendations on what cam and heads to use. I would like to use a hydrolic roller rocker cam. I also need help with the intake and what tpi system to use. Im looking to get around 450 hp out of my car. I have around $5000 to use but want to use it the best ways I can. Thanks for the advise. Ramey

I think your goal of 450 HP from a TPI set-up might be a bit to lofty. You may need to switch intakes to a superram or TPIS miniram or holley for those HP #'s. How is the car used? Your combination needs to be planned out carefully so you get the most performance.

If you want 450 hp...do a cam swap, a set of heads, and a blower. Should cost you around $5000. Assuming you already have headers, exhaust, etc.

450rwhp or 450fwhp? Auto or manual? You could do a budget 383 and spray it...

I know that I need to change my heads cam intake and tpi set up but I was wondering what brands and sizes you people suggested to get the 450 hp area. Mainly brands and sizes of cam and heads a good combo that will work. I was thinking comp hydrolic roller cam but dont know which one and unknown on heads. thanks

i agree with the blower my 305 is pushing an estimated 450hp/475 ft/lbs of torque at the flywheel with a 15% loss from the t5 drivetrain, i dyno'd 381hp/400 ft/lb of torque, sound about right guys?

How about a 92 L98 GTA? I opened mine up and found flat tops. I didn't think GM built these cars with flat tops.
