swapping out 89tbi harness to 87 tpi harness

Axle/Gears: 3.73
swapping out 89tbi harness to 87 tpi harness
like the title says, im doing this swap.. i see that the harness for the 89 tbi goes back into the car via the driver side... but my new harness doesnt.. i separated wires that dont have to deal with the tbi harness coming from the driver side.. should i cut the other wires.. thanks

Transmission: next to engine
Axle/Gears: the ones that turn
Dont cut any wires untill you know what they are, do a search on the swap (to see if someone posted what these wires are for) Alot of good info here at thirdgen.
