Cool.
I hope it's wrong though. According to the calc i'm going to need bigger injectors than my 26lb to support my engine.

I often wonder how accurate these are, I see a lot of guys over at Corvette Forum running FMS # 24 injectors. Some of these guys are running 10's.
This calculator says that I need 32's, but I'm thinking she'll idle snotty rich. Maybe I'm wrong (I often am!) but the # 24s seem to be what I want. I've got # 30s too so if the # 24s go lean I'll just swap.

well as i've been told the stock injectors barely flow enough for a 305 let alone a 350. and with the 24#'s that's just barely a step above stock and you have a 383. plus if you get a chip burned and program the chip for the bigger injectors it will actually make the injectors last longer since they aren't working as hard (the duty cycle). as i understand it the duty cycle is the amount of time the injectors are firing so the less they are actually working the better IMO.

You need to know the BSFC for your motor. If stock .5 is probably OK. Also that is based on 43.5 pounds of fuel pressure. With more fuel pressure you need less injector.

When they flow the Ford injectors, they use 39 psi. At 43.5, it;s already at # 26. When you hit 47 you're at about 28. Jesse (Ski Down It) a tuner over at Corvette Forum was using # 24 Fords in his low 10 sec. vette. But then Alvin another tuner at PCM for less usually says 30s. I could be wrong about all this, but I just hate the thought of taking apart the Superam twice.

This calculation doesn't account for different injector firing systems. TPI's are batch fire, so they need a lot less injector for the same power as would a Sequential system that only fires the individual injector.
