running rich question
I am having an issue with my car running rich. The BLM's & Ont's are in the 128 range but the O2 is reading around 100 MTV. The car wreaks of gas when it running. What could I look at to see whats going on?? I have a new ECM & O2 sensor. fuel psi is set @ 42 w/ the hose hooked up. The chip is done by Ed Wright. the engine is a 383, Stealth Ram, Fast Burns. 30lb injectors(recommended by John @ Fastchip)
Any help would be appreciated

Well, the 30# injectors seems big for a 383 if your are runnig at 46 to 48 PSI fuel pressure. Check the fuel pressure with the vacuum hoses disconnected (this is the proper way to check fuel pressure). And get back to us.
However, what you wrote is fundamentally impossible. The ECM will correct the fueling to 14.7 to 1, provided that the chip does not interfer with this process and the O2 sensor is good. Having said that, I would expect that the Ed Wright chip is screwing you up or the O2 sensor is bad.
Did Ed Wright lock the BLMs? What are the INTs?
BTW: I run my 395 with 24#/hr injectors at 52psi fuel pressure. My chip.

doc, thanks for the input. I scanned the car a few minutes ago & realized the with Winaldl the data I was looking at was raw data. My fault. I was getting readings in the 200-900 mV range. I am new to the Winaldl program. The int's are in the 127ish range. I do not know if he locks the BLM's either. I do not know how to tell. The fuel pressure is actually 45 with the hose removed. I know that is the correct way to measure it. I just forgot to type it. ON the injectors I would not have an qualms about putting 24's back in. I asked for a suggested injector from the tuner and that was the answer I got
The O2 sensor is a brand new GM unit with about 45 miles on it. I am now trying to get items together to tune for my self but I am pretty green at it so I am listening with very open ears to suggestions.
