MAF sensor?

Hey guys i was looking at getting a K&N air filter that attaches right to the throttle body on my 1991 trans am 305 tpi. The place that has it says that it will not work with tpi engines using a MAF sensor. How do i find out if the car uses a MAF? The car is completely stock minus a flowmaster exhaust system. Any info you guys could give me would be just great.

it should be located between the air filter and your throttle body.

If your 91 came stock with a TPI, it doesnt have a MAF. I doubt you will find any gains changing to that airfilter though.
