TPS Adjustment steps question
Ok I have read all the steps for adjusting the Throttle position sensor.
without pictures its hard to tell when they say hook up the volt meter to A and B terminals is that at the diagnostic plate or on A and B of the TPS?
and theres three jumper wires in between the TPS and the connector so if thats it then which of the three is A and B?
Can someone help me out?

Re: TPS Adjustment steps question
You need to jump the wires from the tps. I just probe from the back of the conector with my dmm. A is black B is dark blue.

also the jump wires they are connected to the tps connector at the same time correct otherwise you wouldnt get any readings.... sorry i wish i had a picture of where the probes go and how the juper wires are set up

Re: TPS Adjustment steps question
step by step instructions with picture.you will need a multi meter or volt meter.if your car is more perfomane i would suggest .65volts closed throttle.not anymore above or ecm will set code. .54volts is stock.go to this link http://www.iroczone.com/techarttpsadj.html

Re: TPS Adjustment steps question
I printed out the IAC/TPS Adjustment instructions from this site. It doesnt say when to remove the paper clip from the A-B terminals in the diagnostic.
And how do you know if the paper clip is making full contact? when the engine light comes on, with just the ignition turned on?
do you remove the paper clip before or after turning the engine on to perform the IAC test?
And this sites intrustions does not mention the timing wire being disconnected but i have been told to do so while performing this procedure.
can someone enlighten me before i screw up my ecm?
thanks
