86 tpi starts then stalls
I just put a new 350 motor in my 86 iroc. It starts ok but within 2-4 seconds it dies. Almost like it runs out of gas.
It has spark, fuel pressure 42psi (adjustable) test light shows voltage to injector pigtails. New coil, cap and rotor, plugs, wires, 22lb injectors, oil pressure switch. I've searched the threads but have come up with nothing.
Can anyone please help?

p.s.
I just put a propane bottle in front of the throttle body cracked open a little and the car stays running. Definitely seems like a fuel problem.

no, but they're brand new bosch 21.5s from five-o so I wouldn't expect any problems with them. Just to be sure how do I test them and what numbers should I expect to see?

Re: 86 tpi starts then stalls
Yep, injectors.
After selling me the wrong injectors the first time, (6 instead of 8) then swearing up and down and arguing with me about it, 5.0 Motorsports sent me a second set of the wrong injectors. They were low impedence vs. the high impedence ones necessary for the tpi motor. After explaining the situation to them I reluctantly agreed to let them send me a third set and finally they were the right ones. After 3 weeks of troubleshooting and a couple hundred dollars of diagnostic time later, we ohmed the injectors. Every one checked out at 2.7 ohms. Wish I would have known to check them to begin with but I was completely assured by 5.0 that they were the right ones. Luckily my injector drivers in the ecm survived and the car now runs. No thanks to Br**e. Beware of Five-O.
