Final assembly specs - what do you think?
The last of the parts are finally installed, and motor should be together this week. I hope to have it installed and running in two weeks.
Here are the specs:
I picked up a rebuilt 4 bolt main short block from Jasper bored .20 over with 4 way relief flat top pistons. It was ordered as a heavy duty pickup truck replacement short block and I got it for $400. The bottom end will do until I finish up my 383 short block.
ZZ4 heads, Comp cams extreme energy XR276HR, summit 1.6 self aligning roller rockers - comp cams dual springs.
Right now I have an accel super ram intake, and accel LTR's. Gasket matched the plenum to the runners as well as to the 58 mm BBK TB.
Accel 24# injectors.
I also converted from MAF to MAP.
The drive train is a t56 connected to a Moser rear with 4.11 gears.
Can I realistically expect mid 12's out of this setup?
I realize I am going to have to dig out all my prom burning stuff and tune the chip - it been a few years since I have done that!

when i was running that combo in my 355, i was making around 280 rwhp and some 300 rwtq with bad bearings and a distributor and coil that was shot. i never got to run it at the track though.....
