hey, I have an 89 formula 350 TPI, there is a long vacuum port that sticks out the drivers side of the plenum right between the two runner... anybody have any clue whats supposed to go there?

it loops back to towards the firewall

That is just a stud that held the clip for your throttle cable. I would bet that was someones way of plugging a vacuum line. Pull in off...you'll see its just for hold the runner on and the throttle cable bracket.
