Fuel Gauge Question? Maybe I'm Just Dumb?
Maybe its me. I can't figure out how to install this Accel Fuel Gauge on the schreder valve. Whole intake is off...no problem. Changed fuel pressure regulator...no problem. Gauge came with a bracket (no idea why), valve joint coupler, gauge, and a little metal fitting which obviously fits in valve.
Problem is that the coupler doesnt fit over valve fitting with the metal piece in place. With out metal piece nothing would push down on valve to give a reading.
Anybody have any ideas this seems like such an easy installation but im missing something. I can't adjust the fuel pressure until i can get a reading on the gauge.

Remove the valve guts(valve stem remover) and just hook up the gauge without the fitting that pushes the valve down. Thats what I did with my old GN......removed the guts and hooked up a braided fuel line and ran the gauge on top of my hood.
