I have a 87 tpi the car surges at idle on start up then stalls . If i hold the gas pedal down a little to keep the rpm up it will idle on its own after about 2 minutes of holding the gas pedal . The idle rpm will be where ever the rpm was when I held the gas pedal to keep it from stalling . I checked for vaccum leaks , set tps , iac , grounds . Other than that the cars runs great once it will idle on its own . If I shut the car off and start it right back up , it will idle fine . If I shut the car off and start it up ten minutes later it wont idle on its own . WTF!!!!
