Code 54 after I replaced fuel pump relay
Am I on my way to replace another fuel pump like in the last car? I searched some and did not see any other options after the relay. I find it strange that it will not energize when the key is turned but then the pump runs fine the rest of the time once it is started. Would an alarm have any effect on the fuel pump?

the reason it runs once started is the oil pressure switch sees the 4lbs and closes,a direcxt power feed.do you having long crank starting problems?

yeah, I have had many times where it cranks for a long time and then does not start strong. The last couple days however it has been starting right up and not throwing the code. It seems to come and go. Maybe the pump is dying slowly.
