need help choosing intake for 58mm TB
Hey everybody. I have a question about what cold air intake to use for an aftermarket 58mm throttle body on an 85 Trans Am TPI setup. It actually has an accel super ram with BBK 58mm throttle body. Can anyone recommend a cold air intake besides the one from SLP? Or where they found parts to fabricate one? Thanks.

I have the stock throttle body and am using the SLP intake.
If you want to make one yourself, you can bend one out of some exhaust pipe and slap an air filter on the end.

I was able to find some information on how to fab one up searching past forums. It looks like a very clean and fairly easy set up to make for about half the cost and probably works better than the SLP kit. Here is the link: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...completed.html
