what cam should I use? I have a 95&97 LT1 stock cam. I am putting it in a 89 305 TPI
I currently came across two cams a 95 camaro LT1 cam and a 97 LT1 Z28.I am putting this in a 89 305 TPI. both sellers told me different specs for the cams. the 95 LT1 is 202/207 .450/.460@116 and the 97 LT1 is 200/207 .447/.459 lift 117 LSA. I would of thought they were the same specs. I purchased the 95 cam on eb_y and the 97cam from formula89 on thirdgen. The 95 cam dowel pin is slightly shorter. Other than that side by side they look the same. I don't know anything about cams so I need some help here. Does anyone know the correct specs. for these cams and if i should be looking for a part# somewhere on the cams so I know what the real story is on them. let me know if you know what cam would be better or if they are the same cams or is someone sold me a bunk cam.Thank you brothers for all your help in advance.

Alot of stuff changed on the LT1's in 1997, it was a 1 off year. I'de stick with the cam that shows the least wear.
