305 to 350

What year engines are we talking about? There is a concern with the intake bolt angles used on early-86 and the 87 up, that would need to be taken care of if they are different. Also the dipstick, which side its on. Other than that just take whats on the 305 and put it on the 350. Eventually you might want to swap injectors, ESC and knock sensor, and the chip. I have heard of people not doing that right away and just using an AFPR to up the fuel pressure.
the manifold should bolt to the heads
but youll want to take note that most late 70s long blocks were pathetic performers especially because they were saddled with very low compression ratios. IMHO id wait a little longer and save for some small chamber heads to boost the C/R
if not definately do the cam

im putting a cam(214/224 443/465), a rebuild kit, bored 30 over.
could i find a set of junkyard 350 TPI heads for a decent price?
did they have 350 TPIs before 87? oh i guess the vette ones.... how much you think they would cost from the junkyard?
i want to get it all done this winter, because my 305 is gettin right tired

Your flex plate won't bolt up. You'll need to got to the larger flexplate form the 79. Then your engine to tranny shroud will be too small so you'll need to fabricate something to protect it. You'll porbably have a driver dip on from the truck, so you'll need to switch to headers to solve that problem. If I remember anything else I'll let you know.
