Rookie in need of help!!!!

alright heres the thing,I have a 89 350 IROCZ it has a prob, at a cold start, It will catch but then die. I checked it with my scanner and it showed that my MAP sensor isn't responding quick enough, But like the title states Im a rookie. Vader said there s no MAP sensor only a MAF, I don't think I set up the scanner wrong, but also when I did the trouble codes two came up, 22 and 33 oh 33 said MAF\MAP sensor was too high. I already changed the EGR valve and it hasn't help, my mpg is really bad right now. Does any one have an idea what is wrong? oh by the way the SES light hasn't came on and if it helps my car stalls every once in awhile. Someone said it might be my fuel pump regulator, might be causing it. does anyone have any sugguestion?

Vader is right, it does have a MAF sensor, 90 was the first year of MAP. I don't know much else though, sorry.

with the codes you are getting it seems to be related to your tps sensor (throttle position switch). either it died on you ,, which would be the cause of your stalling , or it needs to be adjusted.. make sure the voltage at the tps is at .54v DC. and when you move the sensor up an down the volts also go up and down.. it is located on the left side of the tb when you are looking at it. if that turns out to be fine then its the maf sensor,, its dead!!

good luck
