advice needed on TPI and mods needed for 350 hp

I'm thinking of buying a 92 TPI (less computer and wiring harness) for $200 and wondering what I need to do for it to handle around 350hp or a little more. I have brand new #24 injectors already. Will a new Edlebrock base and runners and the #24 injectors allow the TPI to flow say to 5500-6000 rpm? I have a TBI now but I am converting to TPI when I build my next engine.

I have a 85 TPI unit complete but don't want to fool with all the trouble of converting it to MAP and still having to upgrade the components....or is it just as easy to buy a 90-92 MAP computer and harness, plug the cold start injector hole and buy runners for a 90-92 MAP TPI unit?

any help, advice, pros and cons, ect. would be great!!

I'm suppose to go look at the TPI unit on Saturday and need to go check on prices for a computer/harness to match the 92 TPI if I do buy it. Is there aftermarket companies that sell these computer/harness combos?

Would I need to get all the sensors from the donor vehicle...ESC, MAP, or will some of mine work from my 350 TBI such as the fuel pump relay and small sensors such as that?

anyone?

With the edelbrock base and runners I would think that you could get those rpm #s. However the stock heads won't, so they would hold you back.
I personally wouldn't fool around with the 85 TPI unit inorder to make it work as a 90-92 unit, just seems too much to go wrong. And with out porting you wouldn't get the rpm's you want.
As for harnesses, Jegs and Summit have "Painless" wiring harnesses for a little under $300. You can pick up a ecm from a junk yard for under $100. And as the computer chip, if you have major mods( heads & cam, over .500 lift & TC) you need a custom chip, above $300.
I don't know about the sensors.

Good luck!

thanks for the input, my next engine will more than likely be the partial ZZ4 block with the LPE cam and AFR heads. I figured as much about the 85 TPI and I've heard it was the worst TPI unit out of all the years.

I didn't want to fork out $3000 for an ACCEL superam unit so Edlebrock was my next choice...at least start with the intake then go from there.

Thanks again!

The superRam (plenum and runners only) is $699. THe complete system (plenum, runners, wiring, fuel pump, sensors, TB, DFI ECU, etc is $3000.
