LB9 EGR help

89 5.0 LB9 TPI motor. on the EGR solenoid that sits under the coil bracket-what plugs into the back of the solenoid next to the electronic plug? It looks like maybe a vacuum plug. I know that the EGR valve and throttle body plug into the front of the solenoid, but can't find a loose hose or wire. HELP!!! Please!!! going for smog tomorrow. THANX

Re: LB9 EGR help

Sounds like you have it covered. The hose to the EGR under the plenum. The hose that goes under the throttle body. Then the electrical plug.

Re: LB9 EGR help

nothing goes there, there should have been a cube shaped foam filter over it held in by the little prongs on both sides.
