Ran 9.81seconds at 72.45 mph in the 8th with a 2.259 60' last weekend with my stock 305 TPI powered GTA, T5, 3.45. Short term goal is 12s.

Here's my 1st series of mods.
1) LPE 219 cam
2) Accel intake cleaned up (light port, some matching, no siamezing)
3) Accel runners cleaned up (light port, some matching, maybe an inch or two of siamezing at the top)
4) 24lb injectors
5) ported 081 heads, valve sizes undecided, probably stock, positive seals, pin studs (hope they hold), machine for springs, springs
6) SLP 1-5/8 headers stainless steel into stock exhaust (dual cats, no muffler)
7) Install exhaust cutout

Use stock chip, fuel pressure, see what happens, adjust from there with prom tuning, etc...and suspension, wheel, tire mods for 2nd round of mods. Then throw on some L98 alum. heads ported for comparison.

I already have all these parts lying around...so, it's really a matter of making the time over the next couple of months to do all this.

sounds great for some first round mods, but the car more than likly will not run with the stock prom. well it might but with the larger fuel injectors and cam it will smoke very bad with raw fuel poring out of your exhaust. and if your going to get the alum. L98 heads i would do very little to the 081 heads.
