I need help with the MAF sensor.
I needed to know how to gut the MAF sensor in my car. Is there a proper way to remove the screens or do I just cut them out with an exacto knife? I don't want to remove the heat sinks just the screens. Also, I am having an engine built and need intake advice. Here are the specs:
383 stroker
Eagle rods and crank
TRW forged pistons
the Lunati Equavelant to the LPE 319 cam(full roller)
World Products 72cc angle plug cast iron heads.
Here is my problem. I had found a really kick *** deal on a SuperRam intake. However, buying the intake and everything in the motor will push me way over budget if I buy the other parts to make my car an overall runner. (i.e. suspension mods, fuelpump, injectors, AFP regulator, Hypertech stage II chip, and headers. Would the stock intake ported and portmatched be able to feed the motor the air it needs until I can afford the Super or Mini Ram? I have been racking my brain to try and put together a car that will be an overall performer rather than a monster engine in a car that can't handle it.
Also it is a 89' WS6 GTA.
PS - what is the size of the stock throttle body on my car? It is a 305 TPI.
Thanks
Robert
