What brand of inline fuel pump/how hard to install
My 89Zs fuel pressure is dropping off at 6000 rpm and I need an auxillary fuel pump. Any suggestions on brands and how difficult to install.

You can use the NOS #51763 or 51764
The second one flows more and also costs more.
There are a couple things you need to instal the pump.... This kit was designed fro 4th gen, but you can use these parts for tyou 3rd gen...

Let me ask Guido what he needed for his 3rd gen install.....

The best way to run an aux pump is to run it off of ignition. Running it off of your factory fuel pump relay can kill the relay.
The only downside to that is that you cannot leave the key turned to ignition unless you unplug your inline pump.
i used the 51764 with my vortech. I bought a 4 wire relay that comes with the 4th gen NOS kit. ive got the wire assignments somewhere at home. But basically you run one to hot, one to ground, one to ignition and one to the pump. then ground the pump.
I also mounted it on the backside of where my seats are located. You will need to be crafty as well cutting fuel lines and getting them to slide over the inlet and outlet. It can get tricky.

For saftey, I would put the aux pump relay right next to the main pump relay. I would jumper the main relays trigger wire to the aux relays trigger terminal. This way the relays and pumps operate the same as stock.
why not just get a high pressure high volume in tank pump and do the swap--yes its a pain in the a$$ but so is mounting anything on these cars.got a 255lph high pressure pump new for 108 from a company in txno shipping or tax!

I agree with blowen90ta...An intake pump will run quieter too!
