Can you use Air ducting from a Camaro on a Firebird?

Has anyone ever tried or done this? To put the y-type air intake ducting from a Camaro and fit it to a Firebird? Would the hood still close? Would it fit if you cut holes in the radiator support?

Thanks

I think that due to the nose design that it would not work.

If you have a canister style filter, you could just replace it with a 3.5" piece of exhaust tube and stuff a K&N on the end of it.

I went an extra step and ported a hole in the battery tray to get cold air and installed the MAT sensor there. I realize some people may not want to cut the hole, but I'm a hack and I know that it helped.

I have a pict of it under my mods.

Hope this helps.
