Cold Start Injector - I found a new bosch one ... go figure.
GM discontinued the cold start injectors. So I had no choice but to order one in the aftermarket. Low and behold I open the box and it is a NEW bosch injector. The part number is exactly the same.
Cool.
Perhaps bosch makes it for everyone. For some reason I was expecting some cheapo version.
Anyways, if you need a cold start injector, don't turn up an aftermarket one, it might be the exact one you need.
Ya ya, I should just update my prom to an 89 bin and be done with it. That is in the works this winter.

I too thought I had to buy used, but I found a listing a local parts store. The brand name it was under was "Blue Streak". The part number was
BLS CJ1
The BLS stands for Blue streak. The CJ1 is the part number.
I was expecting a brand X injector but was VERY surprized to find a real bosch one. Same part # as the one I had on there.
I imagine that blue streak, who ever they are just bought the old stock or something.
There is still life for us 85-88 TPI engines!
