I'm sick of my fuel rail leaking!!!!!

I've got a reoccuring leak that I'm sick of dicking with. Right where the steel fuel line goes into the FPR in the front, it leaks. The first time it did it I removed it and put a new oversized washer in there and it was good for a few months, despite the line being ever so slightly crooked. It was crooked becuase there was no way for me to get it in without bending the bastard, because the two lines are welded together at the plate where the rubber hoses connect. Anyway, the next few times it leaked, i used pliers to help straighten it out. Last time I loosened up everything and got it as straight as it's going to get, and now once in a while when I start the car it leaks for a minute, and the rest of the time it's fine. I really don't want to replace the whole fuel rail, so I'm asking if anybody has any sort of quick solution that I may have overlooked.

I think i am pretty good at this since i have had mine apart 5-6 times now. first off, are you using any gasket lube, like o-ring lube or pipe sealant/lubricant. probably should take the time to replace the o-rings while you have it apart. take the four bolts out that hold the fuel rail down so you can fully seperate them to position the crossover tubes absolutely strait. you should be able to feel everything fit properly, if it doesn't, take it back out and do it again. just make sure not to slice one of the orings while reinstalling, it really sucks. i suggest a pressure check before you go putting everything back together

whoops, looking back over everything, i think i miss understood the question alittle. i thought you meant fuel pressure regulator (FPR). yeah, those fuel lines are bastards alright. there i replaced the o-rings and used some teflon tape on the threads, worked for me.
