Needed Wireing help?

I am taking a v6 out of my 85 camaro and it has digital guages i am putting in a 86 350 i also got the computer for the v8 but that car did not have digital guages so do i need to get a diffrent computer for my digital guages to work properly?
I fot the wireing harness from the v8 too do i have to change the v6 harnes to a v8 or will the v6 work right?
One othor thing that would help is do they make a boo that shows you what wires got to what sensors etc.
