Just thought I'd share a video clip of my L82/TPI Vette with y'all.

Its taken almost 6 months to get her back on the road with the TPI swap. Maybe because I'm meticulous... maybe becuase of the new baby and the job.

The video is a collection of pictures and video clips of the first weekend tuned and out on the street.

 

Very nice, but, lose the Miami Vice theme.....

 

That clip was a lot of fun to make. Glad you thought the Miami Vice theme was funny.

I was watching a re-run of MV on cable and the scenes where the Daytona are driving around town inspired my clip. I thought- "hey, I could do that". So its been an inside joke. My wife keeps hounding me with stuff like "will you ever buy a car newer than 1994?"... the answer is "no". So the theme music is kind of an inside joke.

I think my choice in music may be the only period correct aspect of my Vette- lord knows the seats and TPI aren't.
